What hygienic measures does gotvintage Rental & Event Design take?
We and our employees wear gloves and mouth-nose cover when cleaning and packing our products. Our crockery, glasses, cutlery and transport boxes are always washed at minimum 62°C in an industrial dishwasher. Cutlery is then packed airtight, the dishes and glasses in transport boxes. All other products are also thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each rental. Our warehouses are regularly cleaned according to current hygiene standards.
Is a contactless delivery or collection possible?
We offer contactless delivery and collection. If this is not possible, we ensure a minimum distance of 1.5m and wear mouth and nose cover. We comply with the current hygiene and clearance rules as specified in the SARS-CoV2 health and safety standards, thus protecting our employees, their families, our customers and their guests.
Who do you rent out to?
We rent out to companies and individuals, for weddings, picnics, tea parties, dinners, trade fairs, events, film and photo shoots.
Which locations do you serve?
gotvintage is located in Berlin and rents out all over Germany and Europe. You can pick up most of our inventory in Berlin but we can also deliver it to you. Transportation costs are calculated on an individual basis, depending on volume and distance from Berlin. Please contact us for more information.
How long can I rent an item for the displayed amount?
Our prices shown are for a rental period of up to three days and include the day of the event as well as the days of collection and return. Of course, the term of lease can be extended, so please request a quote for pricing on longer rental periods.
How long can I rent the items for?
Our prices include a rental period of three days: the day the items are delivered or picked up, the day of your event and the day of return. Of course, the term of lease can be extended, so please request a quote for pricing on longer rental periods.
Can I hand-select every single piece in my desired collection?
Unfortunately, due to the size and scale of our collection, we are unable to allow clients to hand select each item. You can, however, tell us which styles or colours you prefer for your event and our experts will ensure you receive a suitable selection.
Do we have to clean the crockery/cutlery/glasses ourselves?
No. Given the age and delicate nature of the articles we will clean the crockery for you and this service is included in the rental price. Simply and carefully scrape off any food before packing the items. Ensure textiles are dry before packing.
Is cleaning of furniture/decoration/textiles included in the rental price?
No. We expect you to redeliver our furniture and decorative articles in clean condition. Candleholders have to be free of wax, do not use sharp objects for cleaning. In case of heavy soiling, as well as wax residues we will charge an additional cleaning fee.
What happens if I break or lose an item?
If you break or lose an item, we will deduct the replacement value (stated on the quote) from your refundable damage deposit. Please check the articles on receipt for completeness and damage.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
The minimum order quantity for private individuals is 150 Euro gross, excluding packing, delivery and shipping.
Can I make a reservation for the articles?
Due to high levels of demand we cannot offer reservations. Our principle is: First come, first served.
Do you deliver and collect the items directly to and from my venue?
Yes, we deliver rental items Europe-wide upon request. Alternatively you can collect and return in Berlin. Furniture, tableware and glassware is usually transported by us. Please contact us for an individual transportation quotation.
I would like to request a quote…what do I do next?
The best way is to add the desired articles to your Rental request. Then simply add the details of your event and location and send us the wish list. We will then check availability and will send you a non-binding quote.
I have received your quote and want to place an order…
If the quote is still valid, just sign it and return it to us. You will then receive an order confirmation with further information regarding payment.
My quote has expired but I still would like to order…
In case our quote has expired, please contact us. We will then check availability of the articles and send you an updated quote. Should some articles no longer be available, we will inform you and offer alternatives where possible.
How can I pay?
We accept the following methods of payment: Bank transfer.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, you can. If you cancel your order the following cancellation fees apply
– up to 61 days before pick up or delivery date, 25% of the rental costs;
– up to 14 days before pick up or delivery date 50% of the rental costs;
– within 14 days before pick up or delivery date, 90% of the rental costs will be charged.
Can gotvintage help with styling of my event?
Yes! We do offer individual styling services. Please contact us and tell us about your requirements and send us your mood boards.
Does gotvintage help me with setup and wrap of my event?
Yes, of course! Please contact us and tell us about your requirements.
Are the products B1 certified respectively flame resistant according to EN 13501-1/DIN 4102 building codes A?
Unless otherwise stated our products are not B1 certified and are therefore match fire protected in accordance with class B3 (i.e. EN 13501-1 Class F). This does not mean that you cannot use our articles at public events. Please talk to your location/your event organiser to see if there is a fire protection officer on location, or the possibility of providing such.

Yes, simply send us photos and some information including your asking price. We will then decide whether the articles are a fit for our inventory and if so we will make you an offer for them.
